Lakeside Lutheran High School FedCon May 2026 update

Congrats to our Academic Top 10, including valedictorian Grace Zhou (Eastside, Madison) and salutatorian Linc Foskett (St. John, Jefferson). 🏆 Warrior forensics team retook the Capitol Conference championship at Waterloo when 9 schools competed in 19 different speaking categories. The win marks Lakeside's 15th conference championship in 16 years. Read at Warriorstories blog

🏀🤼‍♂️ Girl power! #3 seed Lady Warrior basketball are Capitol champs (unbeaten in conf). 1st year Lady Warrior wrestlers took regional team championship via ind. champs jr. Lucy Kuchta, fr. Gwendolyn Forster; runners-up Lamayra Schmidt, Bridget Schilling, Haylie Reese; and 3 more in 3rd place.

🙏🏼📞 Mr. Glen Pufahl returned a call to Mt. Olive, Overland Park, KS. Mr. Andy Rosenau is deliberating a call to serve as Dean of Student Life at Divine Savior Academy in Sienna, TX. Please keep him and his family in prayer.

🫶🏼 Operation GO mission teams have been set for summer 2026! 28 teens will share gospel love on 4 trips: to Idaho Falls for Truth in Love Ministry; to Faith in Anchorage, AK; Shepherd of the Hills, West Bend, WI; and Trinity in Abita Springs, LA. Support their gospel work at givebutter.com/opgo.

❄️ In December, Mr. Jared Rathje accepted our call to be Director of Curriculum & Instruction next fall, Principal Schultz was called to be a mission pastor in Altoona, Wis and Mr. Phil Dretske to teach engineering and coach at Manitowoc Lutheran High School. Please keep them all in prayer.
❄️ Our wrestler boys earned the championship at the Iron Sharpens Iron Invite at Lake Country Lutheran with 6 medals; the same day, our girl wrestlers made school history, taking to tournament mats as a team. The next weekend saw senior Haylie Reese take 1st in weight at West Allis Central!
❄️ Milestones were recently reached ... a fun one in that our @llhstechclub YouTube channel reached 1 million views, and even more amazing, by December, our favorite thrift store, Twice is Nice in Jefferson, had gifted Lakeside Lutheran over $9 million since its opening. Thank you for shopping, donating & volunteering!

🎁 Warrior Academic Bowl team are back-2-back Conference Champs! 4 teens were top medalists in their categories (Maya Damm (Peace, Sun Prairie) in Eng 10, Lexi Krahn (Eastside, Madison) in Eng 11, Violet Larson (Peace, Sun Prairie) in Eng 12, and Elias Schreiber (Bethany, Fort) in Geography) for the overall highest score in their respective categories.

🎁 Girls Cross Country won Conference, were runner-up at sectionals, earning a state spot! Finishing 8th/16, it’s their best finish since winning state in ‘07.

🎁 "Career Day” saw 50 professionals (25 alum) from 30+ fields on campus to share career descriptions, stats, and personal experiences. Each of our 563 Warriors chose 3 sessions to attend. See pics at llhs.smugmug.com

🍁 With higher enrollment comes the blessing of more diversity, in backgrounds as well as in interests among our students. We look forward to seeing the fruits and fun of new co-currics, including Art Club, Crocheting & Knitting Club, Equestrian team, Trap Shooting team (2nd year) & a WIAA Girls Wrestling team 🎉

Lakeside Lutheran High School FedCon Sept. 2025 update

Our 68th school year began for 567 students on August 18, a 6th straight year of enrollment increase, up 6.2% since the last day in May.

We had 161 freshmen at orientation the Thursday before. Check out the Freshman 1st day video or What’s New at Lakeside on our YouTube link on the llhs.org homepage.

K-8 students should look for a prize table or find Mr. Lauber at any reg. season home varsity event to get or show their 25/26 FedCred card for free admission to the event & have fun with a scratch-off that could mean a treat at concessions or cool Warrior swag.

Homecoming is October 3 and features a downtown Lake Mills parade at 5 pm, an Alum Zone party that starts at 5:30 and 7 pm football v. Mt. Horeb with halftime shows by the Marching Band and Dance team. Alum should register at llhs.org/apps/pages/alumzone by Sept 26.
