The number of alumni and alumna of Lakeside Lutheran are approaching 5,000 since the first graduating class in 1962. What a history. What a treasure!

The original 1950s visionaries of LLHS may have been our parents or grandparents. The importance they placed on Christian secondary education was truly a blessing for alums. Lakeside Lutheran High School has provided many students with the needed tools to go out into the world and live a life for His glory. Was it easy? Not at all! The financial sacrifices were tremendous. It was truly the love in their hearts and the passion for His word that made it possible.

The vision they had in 1958 was clearly the work of the Holy Spirit. As you look into your own heart and see the influence that Lakeside Lutheran High School has had on you, it is also clear that you can carry that light to the following generations, whether it be your own family or for others. Will it be easy? Perhaps not any easier than it was in 1958, but we find direction in Isaiah 30:21: “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’”
