Veterans Day Observance

One of our favorite traditions is our Veterans Day observation. Unfortunately, we aren't able to invite veterans to campus this year, but we still want to honor their service. Use this form to submit names of family members who have served or are still serving—and a photo. We'll display them during the day. We'll also line our sidewalks with a flag for each name submitted.

Construction returns March 16!

Hwy 89 (Main Street) road construction will re-start March 16. The final phase of the project will be from just south of Woodland Beach Road to several hundred feet south of Hwy A, resulting in major disruptions for anyone trying to reach Lakeside from the south on Hwy 89 or on Hwy A.

"School Choice" online app opens Feb. 3

To better assist parents applying for the Choice programs, DPI is requesting that Choice schools who include a link to the Online Parent Application or other Choice application documentation on their school websites use the shortcut dpi.wi.gov/choice or original https://dpi.wi.gov/sms/choice-programs/student-applications. Both links take parents to the same student-application webpage which includes the Online Parent Application link and all the parent resources listed above. These resources may be helpful in answering questions parents have when applying.

Suicide Prevention is Everybody's Business

On Tuesday, March 24, LL NHS will host a Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) Suicide Prevention training, building on the mental health awareness campaign (think cornhole tournament) earlier this school year. Lakeside dad and Licensed Professional Counselor, Jon Schulz, will lead the training at 7 pm. All are welcome to attend -- high school students, parents, staff, community members.  A free pizza dinner is served at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria for all participants who register in advance (tap the headline for the RSVP). If you have questions, please contact NHS advisor Mr. Andy Rosenau (arosenau@llhs.org).

Luminaries for Loved Ones

It's this time of year that you can remember loved ones and help beautify the walkways for the December 15 Christmas Concert through our annual "Luminaries for Loved Ones." Supporters help let His light shine by making a $5 donation to Lakeside in memory of a loved one. Luminaries line our sidewalks (weather permitting) at our Christmas Concert.
