Whether you want to be a programmer, builder, or driver, our Robotics Club has a place for you! LLHS Robotics participates in VEX Robotics Competitions. VEX is a more affordable, yet skillfully challenging robotics medium. Each year the competition changes. You always have an alliance with another team and try to score points and keep your opponent alliance from scoring points. Design, build, drive, plan, lead...VEX is a fun learning experience.

Wisconn Valley VEX Tournament

On Saturday, January 17, Lakeside Lutheran Robotics sent 4 teams to the robotics tournament at Shoreland Lutheran High School in Kenosha, WI. There were 39 total teams in attendance from 13 different schools and robotic clubs. Teams started the day by competing in 7 qualifying matches. Two teams advanced to the knockout stage. Both 53551W Resilience (10th - 5 wins, 2 losses) and 53551Z Reflex (13th - 4 wins, 3 losses) were knocked out in the quarter finals. Team 53551W Resilience were awarded the Innovate Award for the design, development, strategy, programming, and documentation of one particular feature of their robot that was unique and made them competitive in this year’s competition.
Our two upperclassmen teams, 53551W Resilience and 53551X Enigma, compete next at UW-Stout on Saturday, January 31. All four teams will then compete again at Fox Valley Lutheran High School on Saturday, February 14.
