National Honor Society

Our food drive—and friendly competition—run from Dec. 7-20! food drive

All 4 classes are battling to see who can fill their 55-gallon drums most often with non-perishables for the Lake Mills Fire Department's annual Food Drive. Buckets are located by the main office.

The winning class will receive ice cream sandwiches, thanks to Kwik Trip!

Let's show our Warrior spirit—every time you're at the store, buy some extra to bless our neighbors.

NHS Car Wash

May 6 at Lakeside

8 am to 12 pm

Money raised will be donated to Christian Aid & Relief for those impacted by the tornados in the South & Midwest. Look for signs and bring vehicles to the west side of campus for a $5 car wash!

Families already attending the elementary track & field meet at Lakeside that day are especially encouraged to participate.

Resiliency training at LLHS

modules
Lakeside's National Honor Society officers—along with Karen Fischer, a counselor from Christian Family Solutions—kicked off our six-session resiliency training.

Using the Cornerstone curriculum, a three-person team from CFS then met with students in every religion class, equipping them with tools and strategies to develop their resilience, enhance their quality of life, and decrease stress and anxiety.

Lakeside is the first high school in the nation to offer resiliency training through Cornerstone!

The National Honor Society is dedicated to the development of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. NHS members plan and perform various service and leadership activities throughout the school year. Students are first eligible for selection at the end of the sophomore year. Candidates need a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher, at least three leadership roles, several hours of community service, and character references.
