Staying in Touch with Lakeside Families

E-mail Newsletter
On most Tuesdays during the school year, we e-mail and social post a weekly newsletter called Warrior Weekly E-News, written with current Lakeside families in mind. It provides info about events and news for students and parents, including hotlinks to valuable info. Guardians(s) are automatically subscribed using e-mail address(es) you provided during enrollment. Update or unsubscribe at the bottom of any e-mail. Add [email protected] to your address book. To subscribe, look for the box link on llhs.org or go directly to <llhs.org/apps/pages/comm-tools>

SchoolMessenger Communicate
Lakeside’s notification system for emergency and other important announcements is hosted by Powerschool. Families will be notified of cancellations and other vital info through a combination of email and text alerts using real-time contact info from our PowerSchool enrollment database. This is also our means to deliver confidential student report cards through quarterly emails. Change your contact preferences at llhs.org/PSupdates/
You can participate in this free service* just by sending a text message of “Y” or “Yes” to our school’s short code number, 67587. We recommend saving this short code and Caller ID to the contacts on your phone. This will help prevent any 3rd party call blocking systems from interfering with your receipt of important messages we send. This service is only available to parents, guardians and students whose cell phones are in our PowerSchool system.
SchoolMessenger is compliant with the Student Privacy PledgeTM, so you can rest assured that your information is safe and will never be given or sold to anyone. *Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Text STOP to opt-out. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Warrior Videography covers sporting events in the East Gym and on the competition fields (soccer and football) using Hudl cameras. Access the streams from our webpage at llhs.org/apps/pages/streaming-video. (We do not currently livestream sports in the West Gym if there is a concurrent event in the East Gym, nor do we have a stream for either campus diamond.)
Can’t be on campus for the concert, special presentation or even graduation? Want to be a part of the devotions students experience in 9:35 AM chapel on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays? We have a Vimeo channel where you can be a part of the event live, or for months afterward through the archives. Check out vimeo.com/llhs
