You’ve heard of Twice is Nice...but...what does this mean?
Did you know the cost of educating a student at Lakeside Lutheran in 2022–23 is over $13,000? Yet for most students, tuition runs less than 60% that amount. Who helps fill the gap? Federated congregations for one, but this is also where Twice Is Nice Resale Store (TiN) steps up for your student!

Twice is Nice supports Lakeside Lutheran High School by gifting the school a majority of its net proceeds; in effect,  reducing families’ out-of-pocket tuition cost—the equivalent of almost $1000 per student in what would otherwise could well be higher tuition costs! In Oct. and Nov. 2022, sales totaled $218,373, or $691.05 in sales EVERY HOUR the store was open. Twice is Nice gifted Lakeside well more than half a million dollars in 2022!

Additionally, the TiN Board, formally Good Stewards, Inc., provides for non-budgeted requests made by faculty and staff. Wish list items granted include several computers, funding safety item installation, whiteboards and bulletin boards, mission trip seed money, chairs for theater seating, cameras, lunch tables, drinking fountain with bottle filler, and more. However, Twice is Nice depends on you to continue this assistance for the Lakeside Lutheran ministry. You can thank the store by:

• Volunteering at TiN (jobs for EVERY interest)
  Remember, every store worker and board member is a volunteer too!

• Donating your unused clothing and household items
  (back door of store is open 10-3:30 for donation drop off each day the store is open)
• Shopping at the store

The store is open 10-4 Monday- Saturday, closed some holidays. ON days when LL cancels classes during to weather emergencies, the store is also closed.
