It has been my privilege to serve here at Lakeside since 1993. Currently, I am teaching Algebra I and Algebra II along with coaching JV Girls Softball and serving as an assistant cross country coach. I coached Varsity Girls Basketball for 22 years.
Before coming to Lakeside, I served as the principal and upper grades teacher at Jerusalem Lutheran School in Morton Grove, Illinois. I graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota, in 1983 and also received a master’s degree from National-Louis University in Evanston, Illinois, in 1991.
Lygia—my wife and compass of 36 years—and I have four children and two grandchildren.
