Before coming to Lakeside, I served as the principal and upper grades teacher at Jerusalem Lutheran School in Morton Grove, Illinois. I graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota, in 1983 and also received a master’s degree from National-Louis University in Evanston, Illinois, in 1991.
Lygia—my wife and compass of 33 years—and I have four children, the oldest is 31 and the youngest is 21, and one grandchild.
