2024-25 Course Selection

The portal for making course requests in PowerSchool for the 2024-25 school year is open. Students have until Dec. 15 to choose the next year's courses. After that point, the portal closes, but changes can be made through the Guidance office without a fee through March 1. After March 1, there is a $50 fee for course request changes. (This fee does not apply if the change is initiated by a teacher.)

Mrs. Uher is in process of meeting with students in classrooms to discuss course selection options, and how they relate to post graduation plans. If you have any questions, please contact her.

See the Curriculum page for the current list of course offerings.

See this Google sheet to make your 4-year course plan. The online document is "view only": to edit your own course plan, download the Google Sheet as an Excel/spreadsheet and edit/save it locally.

xello
Xello (pronounced “Zello”) is an online program that helps anyone, anywhere in the world create a successful future through self-knowledge, exploration, and planning. Xello is used in Computer Essentials class by all Freshmen. In addition, all students will complete Xello activities according to their grade level throughout this year under the guidance of their homeroom teachers.
LLHS youth apprenticeships allow students to work and explore their God-given skills while taking a related class. Eligible students would interview at a jobsite, be hired, and log 450 hours of work from June 1 to the end of the school year. Look here to read about some of the common careers that our students have been paired with local businesses. See Mr. Meske or Mr. Rosenau as you explore scheduling for next year; apprenticeships are an option for class of 2023 and 2024 when choosing courses.
