Volunteer Opportunities

Lakeside Lutheran offers many opportunities for our parents, grandparents, alumni, and other supporters to get involved at the school. A variety of organizations offer volunteer opportunities that provide great satisfaction and Christian fellowship.

Twice Is Nice Retail Store

You’ve heard of Twice is Nice...but...what does this mean?
Did you know the cost of educating a student at Lakeside Lutheran in 2017–18 is $12,000? Yet for most students, tuition runs less than 60% that amount. Who helps fill the gap? Your Federated congregation for one, but this is also where Twice Is Nice Resale Store (TiN) steps up for your student!

Twice is Nice supports Lakeside Lutheran High School by gifting the school 80% of its net proceeds; in effect, reducing families’ out-of-pocket tuition cost -- the equivalent of several hundreds per student in what would otherwise be higher tuition costs!

Additionally, the TiN Board periodically grants special non-budgeted requests made by faculty and staff. Wish list items granted in 2016-17 included several laptop computers and many other computer hardware and software items, a portable milk cooler, teacher desks, mission trip seed money, videography studio items and several other items that amounted to over $25,000.

However, Twice is Nice depends on you to continue this assistance for the Lakeside Lutheran ministry. You can thank the store by:

  • Volunteering at TiN (jobs for EVERY interest)
  • Donating your unused clothing and household items
  • Shopping at the store
  • Telling friends, neighbors & relatives about TiN, by word-of-mouth and social media. See Twice is Nice on Facebook!

For more information, call 920-674-6868.

The store is open 9-5 Monday- Saturday.

Athletic Boosters

It's not just for parents of current athletes!

MPO (music boosters)

Our band and choirs are always eager to hear of volunteers who can help with organization of various activities, sewing skills, kitchen assistance both on campus and off site during performances and parades

Development Office Events (Grand Event & more)

Take a look at the Development calendar here and see if there are any dates you could lend a hand to Bari Vredeveld, our Development office event planner. She is always happy to have assistance! Help would vary depending on the event, from serving line or registration table help, to full-out committee work for our Grand Event! Never hesitate to ask no-obligation questions!
