I grew up in the great state of Alaska where my parents served and worked for the U.S. Army. I attended public school, private school and was even home-schooled for a short time. My influence for ministry came from my grandfather who grew up as a missionary’s son in India. The army took my family to Seoul, South Korea and then to North Carolina. During that time the Lord led me to pursue pastoral ministry. I graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 2006 and was called to serve Lakeside as a religion teacher and coach. I currently teach Junior and Senior religion, I coach track and I’m the adviser to Operation Go, Lakeside’s mission trip program.
I am married to Christin (nee Shonts) who works as a nurse in Madison. We have three kids: Noah, Claire and Ella along with a dog named Harley. I enjoy traveling, running, hiking, reading and fishing.
I am blessed to be at Lakeside where God’s Word and youthful energy abound. There is never a dull moment!
