Development Office

The Purpose

The Development Office supports the mission of Lakeside Lutheran High School now and in the future. It does this by coordinating opportunities to financially support the continuation of Lakeside's ministry -- by meeting with potential donors, coordinating fund raising events, coordinating alumni events, by helping individuals and companies plan to leave a legacy of themselves to the school they love, and more.

The generosity and donations of faithful supporters help us prepare our students, your children and our future leaders --academically and spiritually-- as they begin their journeys from young Christians to mature Christian adults. No gift is too small and all are greatly appreciated.

This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. 2 Corinthians 9:12

Bari Vredeveld

I was born in Watertown but grew up in Beaver Dam, where I was a member of St. Stephen for most of my life. It was there that I was confirmed, married my husband Chad in 1989, and where our children were baptized as well as attended Lutheran grade school. Our family's appreciation for Christian education continued by choosing Lakeside Lutheran High School. Connor is a 2011 grad who attends Wisconsin Lutheran College. Brock joins his brother as a Lakeside grad in 2014. We moved to Waterloo in November 2008 and are currently members at St. Paul, Lake Mills.

The Lord placed the opportunity as Development Assistant before me in March 2007. What a blessing! Prior experience as a stay-at-home mom, private secretary and food service manager certainly helped prepare me for the attention to detail, planning and confidentiality that goes along with my primary responsibility of building relationships with our constituents through database management, mailings and events.

Most of my hobbies and interests are related to our sons' interest in sports. I love photography, scrapbooking and cheering them on. Probably not a big surprise that our family also follows the Brewers, Packers and Badgers! In my downtime I enjoy reading and walking our dog.  I also serve as a board member for the LLHS Athletic Boosters. Chad helps whenever needed and can be found volunteering at Lakeside for development and athletics.

Someone once told me that wherever you are, it’s the relationships that make your experience. I can't think of a better way to say how much of a privilege it is to be active in so many Lakeside facets: parent, staff, volunteer, family, supporter, and most importantly...friend in Christ.
